Extended story
From stalled second round to a clear account narrative
A Hamburg-based account manager came to us after a second-round panel that went quiet. The feedback — filtered through a recruiter — was that answers sounded “operational” rather than commercial.
Over two panel-prep sessions we rebuilt three stories: a save involving a works-council-sensitive pricing change, an expansion led through a plant manager rather than procurement, and a clean miss where volume targets slipped. The candidate returned to a final round with the same employer two weeks later and could answer follow-ups without switching into task lists.
Outcome: offer accepted after notice-period negotiation rehearsed in a separate clinic. We do not claim the coaching alone created the offer; the candidate already had the experience — the interviews finally showed it.
